Core Talent Games Announces First Annual Game Design Open Submission

(15 June 2009; Toronto, San Francisco)

Core Talent Games Ltd today announced its first annual open submissions of game designs or early prototypes. During the month of July, all persons - game industry veterans or simply non-industry "gamers" - are invited to submit design documents or early prototypes for consideration to add to CTG's upcoming slate of projects.

CTG is doing this to further its mission to create a new market for game designs - and thereby develop an entirely new way to initiate game development projects.

What CTG is looking for is designs for games designers are passionate about getting made. There is no need for a working prototype. However, CTG is adamant that, beyond a great idea, submitters must show a well-executed design much as a screenwriter needs to pitch a quality script to get a film project considered.

CTG will do either design acquisitions or co-production deals, depending on how much submitters wish to be involved in production, what kind of ownership structure they want, and how far along the project is.

After July, game design submission to CTG will only be open to get industry veterans for the remainder of 2009.
