During the month of July, all persons - game industry veterans or simply non-industry "gamers" - are invited to submit design documents or early prototypes for consideration to add to CTG's upcoming slate of projects. Article: Reshaping The Game Industry

Gamasutra published this article, by Core Talent Games' CEO Tim Carter, on how we can inspire innovation in the game industry. With 50 comments and counting, the article has inspired a whirlwind of debate.

On a side note, CTG has received numerous supportive comments. One creative director at a major studio (who shall remain nameless) even went so far as to email the following:

I look at my track record, over $100 million dollars grossed, and wonder why I saw such a tiny, tiny portion of that...

This industry has cost me everything...literally... and I’ve gained little reward in return.  Every year I try to position myself a little better, but with each passing year I am also that much more imprisoned by my ability and seniority in the industry...

Comments such as this tell us there is a business opportunity waiting to be tapped into, which CTG fully intends to do.

We do project-based game financing and development—using best practices borrowed from other entertainment industries to scout out the best game designs from talented creators, to directly compensate that talent for its work in a way that fits its needs, and to provide investors a diversified means of investing in exciting new game projects.
